Bathroom Project ~ DONE!

YIPPEE!!  All done!  I am so happy this is finished.  But for what it is and what it was ... it turned out great.  The only thing left is for the Bear to put the toilet back in, which he will do Friday afternoon!  (Boy, I wish I had a better camera.  These pictures do not do it justice.)

Gave up on the other rugs... they just were soooo messy.... I will do some for the other bath but I will use denim.  The terry cloth shreds everywhere.  Not pretty on the dark floors.

When my body heals from this room I think I will tackle the kitchen.  I have to figure out the logistics for cooking and etc but the floor is very old linoleum. ICK!!

I really love how the floors turned out.  Looks like leather in real life.... feels good under your feet. and I spilled some paint on it and it wiped right up... no problem!  :O)

So what do you think, Sissy!?  Did I do alright for an old frumpy crippled lady!?  :P

Holy Basil!

Sissy!  Remember I told you I was going to order some Holy Basil seeds?  Well, I finally got it and I'm going to send you some!  Sharon had posted that it is found to remove fluoride from water! Now, if that wasn't enough of a benefit...I found some more information on how good it is for us! Posting below!  Thanks be to YaHuWah who knows all things good for us!

Here are some links I found.

I'm really interested in making the infused honey and finding some tea recipes!

Enjoy!

Bath Remodel ~ Finishing The Installation

In the process of making some repairs.  You can just see under the vanity... I had to pull some out because it was not adhering correctly.  There are also a couple of screws that did not sit right.  Charlie is going to screw them in more and then I can just repair the spots.  Super easy!!  But I have 2 coats of Honey Pine poly on it and it is turning out really pretty.

Sometimes I look at it and it looks like stone.... other times I think it looks like leather scraps sewn together.  Either way... it is a million times better than it was.  Next is to finish the repairs and then caulk the edges.  I am hoping I won't need to put wood trim around it.  I think that will detract from the rustic look.
